Ray Miller-4th of July Car Show>>>>>??

Ray was at the meet on the 13th. He saw our SC's and want's them in the car show on the 4th at Haggin Park.
This is one of the biggest car show's here in Sac. I have been to two of them over the year's ,It just keep's growing.
This would be a good way to show the publice what a SC really is.
Maybe we can talk Jim D Sr into bringing that pink 57 bird as a center peice.
We will get reduced entry rates as a club.
I was also thinking about having a sign shop do a nice sign for the club of the SCCOA. Maybe we will get a few new members.... Just a few thought's.
Please post your thought's under this thread and tell me what you think of this.....

Sue and I will go to this show. Sign sounds good and maybe look into T-shirts or caps (something to show club affiliation) I will check this end for prices. Any suggestions for a logo? If anyone has ideas post them so we can look into it.

As far as the shoot out lets get a definite date so we can decide. I had tentatively planed on the 24th since Sue will be in Canada from the 17-21 or 22nd.

I think the clud bird and logo would be go for t-shirt's.
Cap's I don't think will go over to well with everyone sporting spiked hair cut's...hahaha!

I beleave the 24th of Aug. is the date for the challenge.

Not that it lends much right now, but I'll happily show and do whatever needs to be done, should be fun!

I know these meet's are away's down the road. I just wanted to get them on the board so you folk's could take time to think about it. It's know biggy right now ,just asking to keep it in mind. This is one of the biggest car show's in Sac.and it's a good way to get notice.....

Damn, we need to get Evan a SC.
The reason I say this is because the guy is one of the most devoted SCers I know,along with Dave running head to head with him.
To be honest Evan,after that last meet I think I would have gave up the Impala instead of the Sc..lol
