anyone own a mercury marauder?

i guess thats how you spell it? good looking car,our local linc/merc dealer has a used one and a new one.i like the silver with chrome wheels.the used one is maroon with i guess cast aluminum wheels.they seem kinda pricy .sounds good ,interior looks nice too,i bet thier low maintenence,looks like the mustang engine[4.6l] in them,though im not sure.nice car...

I beleive that it shares the same engine as the automatic equiped 2003-2004 Mustang Mach 1s.

Nice cars.

i been seeing a lot of these on the roads lately, seems to be getting popular. i wouldnt get one though, i cant afford any car that costs over 2g's lol

From what I understand these are also pretty fast cars. I have seen a few up close, they look nice. The engine is a 4.6L V8 producing about 300 hp and 315 foot pounds of torque. With a weight of just over 4000 pounds, the car is about as fast as a stock SC. Low 7s 0-60, and I think the quarter mile time is low 15s.

I especially liked the 2 door convertible supercharged 5 (or 6?) speed concept they had.
