Head gaskets?
my sc was running a little hot lately and i figured it was the thermostat, so i ended up getting a coolant system check just to be safe, and i find out that its almost certain that i have a blown head gasket because of an internal leak. so im gonna get a compression test and find out forsure. but my question was , has anybody had there heads done? and how much am i looking at? |

Re: Head gaskets?
If it's done at a dealer your almost certain to pay anywhere from $1000-$1500. Personally if I had access to another vehicle for a week or two I would do it myself and save myself the $900 labor bill. Or maybe see if maybe Raj or Len could help you out. Hope its not the head gaskets! Good Luck! |
