how do you get to be a moderator and how long it takes?

Seems to be a lot of moderators, hows that work?

There really aren't very many around here. Mostly one or two have rights on each regional board and there are only 4 admins that have rights on all the boards. Right now we are not looking for any new ones. In the future, as the club gets organized there will be procedures for getting new moderators.

Actually, we have a pretty good group of guys/gals around here and don't really need the armies of moderators that some sites seem to have.
