I did not want to install gauges on the A piller. I elected to put them below the radio. The problem is that 1 want 4 gauges and only have room for 2 with a manual fan switch. I figured out a way to turn 2 guages into 4. I am using norskog green digital gauges. They use the same tempeture sensor for coolant and trany tempeture. The fuel psi sender and oil psi sender have the same range 0-100 psi so I can use the fuel psi gauge as a oil psi guage.
I used a couple of single pole double throw switches. If I flip the trany temp gauge one way I indicate trany temp if I flip it the other way I have intercooler coolant temp. The same way with the fuel pressure gauge one way it is fuel pressure the other way it is oil pressure.
I am also using a safety togle switch as a manual engine fan turn on switch.

I would like to know what you think of my mods.

It's an elegant solution, in my opinion.
Question: when you switch to Oil and Intercooler Coolant, does it say so on the gauges?
The main drawback is having to toggle manually. You could try to find an electronic gadget that does this for you, i.e., it switches back and forth about every second.

I could not find anything that would switch back and forth. The gauges still say what the orginal function they were the way you know is the alternative psi from what the gauge says is up.

setup looks really nice blown bird. I didn't want any gauges in my pillar as well and i thought the maurader's setup looked cool, so i kinda copied it. I currently have two switches (for my tcs and tranny cooler fan) that are mounted in the panel around my steering wheel. This winter, or sometime when i have free time i plan on taking some of the switches out of a totalled 99+ mustang and making them fit in the ctr console right in front of my shifter.

and on a side note: Love the Alpine guys. it's the only way to go.
