Be there or be square !

Last year was great, and this year's Shootout is going to be even better. It's the biggest collection of fast SCs and XR7s you will ever see at one meet. Don't miss it and get registered now. BTW, if your thinking you have to be real fast to win something, your wrong. Last year the majority of prizes and money were won by cars that were very close to stock.

With any luck I won't be holding the engine repair demonstrations in the hotel parking lot this year, and will actually get to race my car instead.

David

Well, I'm not sure if I can fit my house door in my car. Anyway, does the door to my house really need a prize? Oh, wait, what kind of door are you talking about, anyway? That might determine which door I bring.

It's too bad it's so far East. The left side of the country is left out. I guess it would be the same for the East coast guys if the shootout was in Phoenix. But hey, the guys that did all the work are on the East coast, so I guess it's their right to have it there. Please don't take me wrong, I'm not complaining, just wishing it was more in the middle so more of the community could make it, although, I guess the majority of the community is on the East side.
Even the MN12 Nationals are in North Carolina. This sucks. I'm going next year regardless of where it's at. If there is a next year. Have fun guys.

P.S. If you East Coast guys weren't so afraid of Jim's SC you would probably have it closer. LOL!!

Hmm, looks like a 700 mile journey for me. I going to pull the old engine out tomorrow. I wonder if I could get my car driveable in time. It certainly won't look pretty, needs bodywork and some paint, but it's all I can do on a college student's budget.

What to do?

Guys I have run into a couple problems.

First, Ths SC shootout is the same weekend as the SCCA Valvoline Runoffs.

Two, I have the oppertunity to race my 35th at Gingerman raceway all day on Saturday.

Three, my front suspension pops like a moe foe and my alignment is way off.

I really want to go to the SC/XR7 shootout but I cant decide on what to do. I would really like to come up there and meet you guys.

Shane

Man.. if I could get the time off from work, I'd be there. Last year's event was awesome - just meeting the people and putting faces with the names/screen names was sweet. Seeing people I already knew and meeting new people made the trip alone worth it.

If anyone can make it - do it. It's a great time.

Gary - Got a 90 5-Speed SC that I picked up off of Fertile Phil that you can run in the stock class. Wouldn't that be a change. ... .. But you gotta learn how to drive a stick first!

Yo Sparky,

Where's BlueTongue Motorsports (Paul BTM) and MN12Performance (Rich)?

Don't they want to be part of the biggest SCCoA event of the year?

Maybe the list needs to be updated. I take it they would want to be involved since both sell parts to our community. If not, well then, "Luucy yoou got some explaining to do".
