Questions for all u guys that have done the 5.0 swap?

Hey guys

Well this winter i plan on starting the project of putting a built up 5.0 into the t-bird. What i want to do is have it carburated and have a fuel cell in the trunk so i can have free access with the exhaust. I just want some advice as to what works and what doesnt and some products to get to do things the right way. I want to upgrade brakes, suspension, get a new hood (i like the cobra r hood), put in lightweight racing seats, remove rear seat and carpet over where that is, and possibly put in a roll cage. I want to lose as much weight as possible so any advice there would also be great. It will all be just a fun project so i am gonna be patient and make sure i do things right. Also the undercarrage is rusted and i wondered it there is a way to fix that cause when i jakc the car up sometimes i hear it crackling and rust pieces fall on the ground and it just scares me sometimes haha. But if any of u can list things to do and good places to get the stuff at that would be great. I already know about Jegs, Summit, and JC whitney. I am kinda looking for places to get specialty stuff i guess. Please any info would really help me get started and i will be sure to keep this project updated on here. thanks a ton
