Ok, car ran great !
Add one 03 4.6 L Mustang, add one fugly turbo Civic and one LT1 Trans Am to the list of cars I have taken down with the SC ![]() Here are my slips of the night: 1st run: 15.012@94.50 /60 ft 2.449 2nd run: 14.798@94.51 / 60 ft 2.222 3rd run: 14.661@94.45 / 60 ft 2.122 The I tried something different, added some 110 fuel(yea I know) and started to leave it in 3rd instead of trapping in 4th gear....... 4th run : 14.724@95.28 /60 ft 2.219 5th run: 14.741@95.18 /60 ft 2.275 So my best run of the night was 14.661 at 94.51 mph. That MPH should be in the low 14 high 13's time slips. My 60 ft sucked due to the 15 lbs of boost and Goodyear Eagle RS-A tires. Traction was a big issue on street tires. The darn car wanted to go to 15 lbs of boost and roast the tires off. I am going to need some ET Streets or Drag Radials. With somemore practice and a good launch, I think I can get 13.99 out of this car the way it sits. ![]() BTW, I left the "hole" at 2000 rpm as my car is a 5 speed, any suggestions? |

Yeah, 2k off the line is way too high, especially at OSW. You'll want to launch at just under 1200, and once you're hooked...nail it. I was trying to give Victor a crash course...next time you go out...let me know...if you could give me some more advance. Feel free to give me a call and we can talk some more if you want: 407-697-8190. |

Good times... I have the same problem with my SC. If I'm in the right hand lane, Car rolls forward, I have to hold it with the hand brake until I launch.

Those are some impressive times Nick. I used bfgoodrich dr's with about 13psi in them and was getting 1.9 60ft times. If you want to race on a real track come down to Bradenton and race with me. My brother-in-law drove down from E. orlando in his 96 mustang and shaved 4 tenths off his best time

LOL, man I will run with ya, as a matter a fact.....I just might be your competition. Let's just say that some "parts" have been ordered and we will definately need drag radials or slicks. I should have it all done and installed by the end of January. I will be hunting down some Supras.......nuff said ![]() |

All I can Say is that it seems to me that, As Paul From Blue Tounge writes>>> Quote... People Sit and talk about Racing, But never actually Race... Something like that... Close enough. WeIl it seem to me that Times are AH CHANGING!. All I hear about lately... is "Let get it on" This is a good turn of events lately. I have not seen any post from Paul? Does anyone know were he may be? He is always on the forums. I think there will be some lower times slips coming is since the competition is on! at least in Florida. I see the Enthusiasm building. I need my Front Mount Intercoller. I'm sorry I sold mine. How much clearance is between the Double Intercooler and the 800 CFM fan attached, from the engine? Its got to be minute. I was looking at that today. Alot of people use them, I never have used mine! It came with a leak even though I was told they were pressure tested
Check out our power pulleys they work! No slipimg and we carry them now regularly. Gaisville is a good track, better than OSW. Bradenton is probably best but further from us. Another hour and change. Keep em Spinning, or better yet Stop em from spinning.... Victor and Diane |

Great times Nick! Did you lower the pressure on your street tires? I ran mine at 22psi and it hepled quite a bit, although I don't have the kind of power you do.
As far as launching experimenting is what worked best for me. My thinking was trying to hit the fine line between bogging it(too low rpm) and spinning(too high rpm). I actually practiced one the street a lot by trying to take off fast from the lights fast without spinning. Generally the street has worst traction than any track and it made me familiar with the feel of the car. Anyhow there's your 2 cents from a guy in the 15's with 2.19 60ft. Kurt
