Thumbs up If they Can do what we need I say Rock and Roll!

Hi David and Tom Jake, and others. If
If RGB and Dave can get these to do what they need to do...I say lets Roll! I'm willing. Right now all I have is a few sets of stock and one ported set. I think the jury is still out but they may just be what we all are looking for if not better. What and how long would all this take before we can fly? Or solo anyway. We have all come a long way in 3 years, no need to stop now. I think the Cometic maybe even a better option, If these were to work out. I have spoken to Dave on this I like his approach. I'm game. We would need alot of other to also junp in and lets get the Roll call out.!

Hi Sparky!(Dave) shoot me an email when you get a minute!
Thanks!
Victor

I saw where you had welded heads on your car dave. Are they stage 2? Does the stage one come with the welded head? I think I missed something. Not to mention I heard you were in town and I missed you. That sucks cause I would have picked the $h!+ outta your brain about these cars. So whats this about the new heads? Are they better or just have a better velocity for the stockers?

I had to read that three times and Im half drunk now. Im not sure what I was looking at. Anyway, I am interested in these heads. Why is there not welding on the stage 1 and 2? Is it for the cost or is this what you are talking about that the SC guys dont need?

I would like to do it right but I am thinkning that it will be more then what the rest of the car can handle. What would be the MINIMUM modifications you would use in order to make the stage three head effective. Dont gimme that if you dont know they are not for you crap either.

There is nothing about the stage III heads that make the car unstreetable or non-emissions capable. It's just a question of how far you want to go and how much you want to spend.

Currently Bob is backlogged on the heads to the point that I am unable to even quote any completion times. If something comes available, believe me it will be posted right here.

Question I was writing a Post and suddenly it vanished?

I was writing a post about heads and after getting my thoughts flowing and getting to the meat of the matter it was being corrected as to propose some good solutions to this head subject... But it Disapeared! I cannot Understand why? Oh well I will just have hush my hand! I will have to possibly start a News letter, I'm starting y to feel Inovative! I Think I will see if we can all find an alternative to the Head problem. If we could just find someone to make heads for us all. I guess I will look into a head shop!
This could become a reality...Never know!

Ok, BIG UPDATE.

IF YOU WANT STIEGEMEIER HEADS!! Stage one, two or three! Speak up now and be ready to send money in because Bob is doing a one time run of these heads NOW and will not commit to doing any more. Possibly ever.

I'm sticking my neck out on this giving him the go-ahead to begin work on Monday. You MUST let me know immediately. There are only 3 sets of heads being done. All are up for grabs in any of the 3 stages but you must let me know by MONDAY!!!

Turnaround time will be short, but I'm not giving an exact day committment. Probably less than a month.

David

Dave,

Since I'm strapped for cash on this one......

What would be a good alternative for a set of stage 3 Steig heads? I'm in House buying mode right now, and won't have spare cash until the end of summer.

So there isnt enough profit to be made in an almost $2,000 set of stock reworked SC heads.

I guess the profit margin isnt good enough or worth the hassle. Not when you can port m112 blowers with yer eyes closed ya know.

Once again we are being forgotten! Oh I love it...

As always ist about the bengamins (as if the heads wernt costly enough)

Damon, it's not about the money at all. Bob is too busy plain and simple. He has had to make a decision to focus his efforts in one area and leave others alone. It's good business sense and it has nothing to do with our cars or the cost of the head work. It would be more accurate to say that head porting in general is not profitable for him compared to porting blowers.

These heads may not be the "end all" for SC heads either, but it is a fact that he spends way more hours on these heads than he is charging us for. If it were in fact "all about the Benjamins" then the price for these heads would be $2800 rather than $1800.

My suggestion is simply if you want a set, now is the time. If you don't, then other things will come along that will work well. It's just the end of the line for this particular option.
