Question on ring and pinion gears...
Does the SC use 8.8" rear end gears like the Mustang, or are they specific to the SC? Also, can I use the gear installation kit from a Mustang, like this one?

Gear sets are the same. That installation kit will work fine, but it will not include the CV shaft bearings which go with the IRS pumpkin. You may want to purchase those separately to replace at the same time.
