Question Inside blower case

Hey guys,

Just have a quick question. I took apart one of my spare blowers today, pretty much just for something to do. The inside of the case has some scratches/small grooves in it from whatever may have gone through the blower. No serious gouges or anything. Is this normal? Obviously it has some effect on performance but is it something that would make anyone not use the blower if it had new bearings and seals put in?

Let me know.
Thanks

So throw a rebuild kit in and it's good to go? Should I do anything with the grooves or just leave well enough alone?

Not doing too bad I guess. Thanks for asking. Chemo is really kicking the hell out of Steph, but she continues to fight.
Throw in Ford's "restructuring" announcement that my plant is going to one shift, meaning my job is gone in 2007 and life couldn't be better.

Dean,
I would use it since it does not sound all that bad I'm sure people are useing ones now that have bigger groves in them.

Sorry to hear about the other stuff I hope things do make a change for the better.
