Shelby GT500

If you had 80K. Would you spend it on this car or buy a Viper or Z06?

Jesus christ. 40K over sticker.

For some, money is no issue.

Nothing wrong with that car that dropping a few hundred pounds and $10k can't fix.

Heck, If I had the money to support the habbit, I would have at least a half dozen of 'em. Along with a few million $$$ worth of other fine cars.

Unfortunately, I'm just a poor bloke that is happy to have what is in my driveway at the moment.

So in answer to the question... "would I give 80 grand for that car?".... YES!!!! IF I had the money to throw down on it.

If I had 80 grand to blow on a car I would buy a ZO6 AND a viper before the stang, I like mustangs but jeez, that price is a little steep for what you are getting and the competition will still kick your butt. (For 80 grand I consider the Vette and Viper to be comparable, whether they truly are or not).

I think what's crazy is at $80,000 you're starting to get into original GT500 price range. If I was buying one I'd want one that didn't have any miles on it after it got to the dealer. At this point in the cars life I consider 20 miles kind of high.
