The GVWR on my vehikL is 4962 pounds. Is that the actual weight? I thought these cars were 3500-4000 lbs!

If you read that off the door thats the max weight for the vehicle. The car weighs about 3800 lbs.

I almost @#%$ when I saw that on my SC too. But I learned other wise.

GVWR = Gross Vehicle Weight Rating which means the weight of the car fully loaded with passengers and recommended luggage.
