Exclamation '97 Kenny Brown LX w/ 62000 miles FS *PICS ADDED* Lowered price

Like the title says, '97 Kenny Brown LX w/ 62000 miles, $5000 obo. This car is, from what I've been told, 1 of 7 made by Kenny. I'll try to remember everything about the old girl: Kenny Brown added KB sway bars, Bilstein shocks, and Vortech S-trim blower, 70mm throttle body, 3.73 gears, Eibach springs. Since then the following has been added: 03 Cobra brakes, 18" ADR wheels, 30 lbs injectors, 250lph fuel pump, Transgo shift kit, dual tranny coolers, JDM racing seats, Cobra R cowl hood, 95 front bumper, 93 SC rear bumper, have all parts for SC ground effects, tons of spare parts.

Now for the bad: The car was broken into sitting in my drive way and the dumba$$ beat on the stereo so much it's pretty much inop. Drivers side glass was replaced, but the upper and lower trim needs replaced from where he was prying on it to break the glass. Has a rough idle from time to time, but I think it's just the ECM needing to be reflashed. (I have a DataLogger and wideband O2 to assist in tuning) Still runs like a bat out of hell, and cruises like a caddy on the highway. A/C is ICE COLD. Has a stumble when leaving a dead stop, but I also think this is an easy fix w/ a better tune. She will bury you in the seat over 3k rpm and will hit triple digits in nothing flat.

That's all I can think of right now. Email me for pics or if you have ?'s about anything.

Where is the car located? What color is it? Who tuned it? What kind of milage does it get? Why would you put an older bumper cover on a 97? Why are you selling the car?

Trades?

Car is located in OKC, OK, is black in color and was tuned by a cat by the name of Josh Turmel from TCCoA.

Milage is average I guess. I've gotten as good as 23 on the highway and as bad as 15 in the city. I do about 40 miles a day on the highway and last time I checked it was right at 20.

I didn't put the older bumper cover on it. The previous owner did that. I think he was dead set on using the Cobra R hood he had from a previous car....hence the 94-95 front end. All of the extras, other than what Kenny did, were done by a cool dude by the name of Jason Marsh.

I'm selling the car because I need a truck for work. I can't really haul around down hole tools for oil rigs in the back seat, and I'm tired of my boss giving me hell about it.

As far as trades, I guess a decent truck would pass. Lemme know whatcha have.

I'm interested too, waiting for pictures. The engine isnt forged correct, just the stock 97 block? What color interior does it have?

I won't steal it from Chris if he wants it, but if not... I do have cash in hand if it's what I am looking for.

Engine is still stock other than the blower, injectors, etc... Interior is black and brown.

Hmmm a brief overview. I am the third owner of this car. The original owner bought the car brand new from a Ford dealership in New England and had it shipped directly to Kenny Brown. When Kenny was finished the owner flew to Indy and drove it home to Long Beach, CA where it was garaged kept and pampered until January of 06.

The second owner (Jason Marsh...some of you may or may not know him) bought the car and drove it from Long Beach back here to OKC. He then preceded to do most of the mods that are on the car now, i.e. cobra r hood, front and rear bumpers, wheels, brakes, etc... I'm pretty sure Jason garaged it most if not all of the time.

I bought her in Aug. of 06 and haven't done anything to her but drive back and forth to work. If I remember correctly she had 56000 miles back then. When I moved a couple months ago I wasn't able to park in the garaged because of all of our stuff in there and the car was broken into. I replaced the driver side glass just so I could get her back on the road. All of the trim around the glass needs replaced, which is pretty cheap from any salvage yard. I just don't have the time to do it right now w/ 18 month old twins and a 5 week old baby. I planned on putting it back to original and sitting on it.

Forgot to mention it has 3.73 gears, and Eibach springs.

Dan

When the side cladding was removed, how were the holes patched/painted. Did the whole car get repainted or just blended? Can you e-mail me more pictures, I'd like larger ones, as well as to see the seats and interior. VERY interested in this car.

The holes weren't filled. They were covered w/ electrical tape. The car hasn't been painted. That was on the top of my list when I bought it, I just don't have the time right now. Also, I don't have any of the original parts that came off of this car. The previous owner sold/trashed what came off.

What's your email??

Is there any rust forming in the holes or is it all good? Does the car have a sunroof/abs/rear disc/trac control?

There is no rust around the holes. They are completely covered w/ the tape. Car has all the bells and whistles interior wise, dual airbags, abs, sunroof, 4 wheel disc, no trac control. I do have all of the Kenny Brown paper work, plus a couple magazines it was in back in the late 90's
