I never even heard about it, I never do. I blew my car up at the 1000 ft, shut it down and still ran a 14.00. This is the kind of stuff that gives SCs a bad name.

They tend to come up with these things at the last minute and then claim they couldn't find anyone. Well most people have lives and can't just drop everything at a moments notice to go racing across country for a magazine that typically couldn't car less about our cars.

Exactly. If they actually wanted to get the "scoop" on these cars, they would show up at the SC/XR7 Shootout. Ford Builder is the first magazine that has really shown the spotlight on these cars, and it's great to see that finally happen. Ford Builder, Hot Rod, and Car Craft are the only magazines I subscribe to.
