Misc:Using M/T E-T Streets, 26X11.50-17LT, on 9" wheels on the rear for the dragstrip.

Also used for open-track lapping and instructing ... not as quick around the track as my old 5.0 Mustang race car, but still entertaining. ;-) Flogged at Watkins Glen in New York (120 mph on the back straight !!), and Mosport Park (on the big track, and smaller Driver Development Track), Toronto Motorsports Park (Cayuga), Dunnville Autodrome, Shannonville Motorsport Park, and the brand new 3 mile long, 17 turn track near Ottawa, Calabogie Motorsports. Formerly on 255-50-16 Hoosier road-race radials mounted on Mark VIII wheels, and then on 275-40-17 Hoosier DOT road-race radials mounted to 2003 Cobra 17x9 wheels that have been machined to +30 offset, shown in action in pics #3 and 4 above.

Pic # 5 shows the car as it was from 1998 - 2001, with 255-45ZR17 tires on ROH ZR 17x8.5" wheels. This was with the Lincoln Mark VIII 11.6" front brake conversion, car was still daily driven year round at that time, with 225-60HR16 Bridgestone winter tires on the stock SC wheels from December to April.

A large part of the work performed on this car has been done by, or with the assistance of, the technicians at Fines Ford Lincoln Sales, the dealership where I look after the parts department ... located just outside Toronto. This car would be still be pretty much stock (or broken) if it wasn't for their help !!

A big thanks to Dave Dalke for his work in April 2007 on the car, including the FMIC and Snow methanol installation, along with the retune with 2 programs. The poor car has over 140,000 miles on it now, and has never had the valve covers off ... we'll see how it does against 19.5 psi. LOL

Thank you to Charles Warner from Magnum Powers, for providing an MP supercharger as a raffle prize at the SC Shootout for several years. I was lucky enought to win the MPIII at the 2006 Shootout, what a great deal for $40!!!

And of course, thanks to all of the SCCoO members who have provided their assistance with performing the modifications, and ideas for this car. We really have a great bunch of SC enthusiasts in Ontario, and all across Canada for that matter.

SCCoA site cover car, September 2002 (pic #1 above).

New dyno numbers with MPIII blower, April 2007: 273.9 rwhp at 4,800 rpm and 344.6 lbs./ft. torque on a Mustang dyno, with no cooldown beforehand.

May 5, 2007: FINALLY 13s!! -- 13.902 at 101.02 mph

October 2008 -- car SOLD to new owner in Edmonton Alberta. Thanks to all of the SCCoO and SCCoA members over the years for their help and ideas. For the forseeable future, I will be SC-less.
