This is the first REAL car I ever owned. I'm from a GM family and broke some new ground by getting a Ford car. I got it because of its great looks and how fun it is to drive. At the time I got my SC, the Super Coupe was the most popular car with Ford employees and they were everywhere around Dearborn. Now I don't see many at all. I have owned it since 1992 (2nd owner) and hadn't done any mods to speak of until November 1998. I never knew that there were aftermarket parts for these cars before I typed "supercoupe" in Yahoo and then I was HOOKED! I discovered SCCOA, MN12performance, CMRE, Birdcats and it was time to get started! I hope to be adding to the Fastest SC's section soon. The favorite mods I did when I got started were exhaust, OD SC pulley, and gears. I am still on my original head gaskets and I keep my fingers crossed! CMRE heads & Cam package could be in the future, however I have not heard much feedback from people who have done it so far. I also plan some substantial stereo changes and I am open to suggestions.
