Virtual meet or shootout of sorts?

This probably won’t go very far, but is there an interest for a virtual meet/shootout maybe some awards for for yearly accomplishments. Showing evidence of something cool that was done or accomplished. Maybe some categories and Mail in prizes and the old raffles. Hosted on a particular day of...

MN12 Thunderbird, Cougar and MKVIII power seat issues...

As Tim said manual tracks. I do miss the tilt feature in the seats, I need more recline on the lower seat so I don’t feel like I’m sliding off it. The replacement covers from SCP and eBay would take care of the non functional switches. Tim have you thought about a way of propping the front part...

Help me Identify the different clutch diaphragm/pressure plate. Centerforce

Working as planed, effort is as expected, little more than stock. Very happy, so if looking for an alternative this luk HD kit is a good alternative and pretty sure it’s what’s in the CFDF kit, just change to a full faced friction disk of your choice. Use a dual friction one from Centerforce or...

Throwout bearing removal from slave cylinder

Ok it’s not brute but does take some trick, when you rotate the plastic you hit a stop. Left or right. While pressing on the unit turn past the stops, and it will pop out. New one goes on easier, on the unknown bearing unit it was a bear to accomplish, the new timken style one was easier to...

    2300 TVS update

With 120 the car should run, I second the short block is fine. I am still curious about the valve seats and rocker adjustments.

Help me Identify the different clutch diaphragm/pressure plate. Centerforce

I got the clutch kit. The HD pressure plate, fingers are definitely stiffer to move vs the two other PP I’ve had used before. I hope the master cylinder is up to the task. I’ll report back if there are any issues with disengagement. Bolt pattern checks out. Dimensions appear to be good in...

    Air filter Collapsing

Is this a fake KN looks kit it ripped at the base, is the front hitting anything on installation? Mine doesn’t collapse. The metal cage mesh looks damaged maybe the weight of the unit makes it collapse on itself. Strange. Typically the seam where they roll ends and join has aluminum backing to...

Help me Identify the different clutch diaphragm/pressure plate. Centerforce

Here is the Ram Kit, new on the right. All that’s worth taking bout is the disk. The PP is a stock replacement, so much for high performance. I will say that I like the pedal effort, and the components is super light where it counts. On a mild car probably holds pretty good. I managed to make it...

Help me Identify the different clutch diaphragm/pressure plate. Centerforce

Centerforce used to offer the 11.5” but stopped at their level II, They did not use a heavy duty clamping PP, I provided a pic of it above, the rusty one. You are correct that the flywheels are the same, except that dowel pins were used with non shouldered hardware, earlier cars used shouldered...

    Air filter Collapsing

This sounds odd, is it a K&N? Some are long where they easily deform from engine movement and hitting the areas where the filter is. I don’t think it’s collapsing due to a vacuum effect. I think something physical is causing it.

    Signal wire to O2 sensor

You need a wide band to tune, honestly although I have a wideband I hardly look at when going WOT. A narrow band is a pointless gadget. Stock sensors to tap to the QH is not a good idea.
