    Ohio- Dave Dalke "XR7DAVE"

David took on my project to replace my KB supercharger with a Borg Warner S366 turbo, convert to E85, upgrade from 3.8L to a 4.2L stroker, and a lot of other custom work that goes with this. Working thru some adjustments still, will post updates when complete.

1989 SC, manual, Colorado Springs CO -- has to go ASAP

no rips in seats, doors in good shape minus a few scuff marks. The pictures also don't show the slight fading/rubbing on the black plastic parts and a little fading on the grey handles used to pull open/close the doors. Both seat adjustment mechanisms (forward/rear, back support, etc) work...

1989 SC, manual, Colorado Springs CO -- has to go ASAP

Slight correction about oil leak: car doesn’t smoke or smell of anti freeze while running so may not be head gaskets. Not a mechanic but someone posed the question

1989 SC, manual, Colorado Springs CO -- has to go ASAP

1989 SC, manual trans, 160Kish miles. Would make a good parts car or re-build. It needs a lot of work but runs solid. Engine is strong, still responsive and smooth, body is decent. Not looking to part the car out, need to get rid of it to make room for others. Was going to re-build/restore...

    Props to mywhite89

Just purchased the '95 SC he and his wife were selling. The description of the car and its condition were spot on, in some cases even better than advertised. They were very responsive, answered all of my questions (and there were MANY e-mails/texts before we met), gave me references of folks...

Supercharger or pulley died? Stalls/dies at low RPM/idle/neutral

Thanks! Thanks for the tips! Since you all mentioned a vac problem, I started by looking for loose hoses, etc. After 20min of looking, I noticed the obvious...the 'coupler' that connects the intercooler tube to the top of the supercharger was so loose that the tube was barely connected to the...

Supercharger or pulley died? Stalls/dies at low RPM/idle/neutral

89 SC, just cleared 153K miles on a 9 hr road trip (1st extended drive in years...yah, I know). Boost gauge stopped working, stays in "VAC", barely goes into "HG" or boost when I jam the gas or lay off it. Loud whining noise (not the whine of the supercharger) when I am on the gas, car...

    Bad window motor?

Driver's side window motor turns, but it won't close/open the window without help. Took the window motor out (the original on a '89 SC), and saw blue cra* inside it. Installed a new window motor, runs fine. Question: see pics. Kind of hard to see, but there was blue gunk all over the...

Looking for: - auto dimming rear view mirror - antenna motor - directional knob on left side of driver seat for shifting seat positions - belts - rear speaker covers (gray) - plastic piece to engage/disengage hand e-brake -- or, how much for entire e-brake assembly? - windshield cowling -...

89 and 94 SC, not 95, parting out, pics

Sorry to hear about the job, hope things pan out. Aside from the Mustang and F-150 line, Ford has its work cut out for itself. Looking for some decent, working '89 parts: - MAF - IAC - rear speaker covers (are they grey?) - antenna motor - rear view dimming mirror - emergency hand brake...

    High idle (2500 RPM) problem

I'll have to check on the EGR valve. If I don't have a EGR valve, how easy is it to have the PCM re-programmed? If I do, and it's not connected for some reason, any impact outside of a hard code 33 and CE light? Thanks

    High idle (2500 RPM) problem

DPFE...PFE...EGR...I did a search and they seem to be related, just not sure how. So what does a 89 SC have and if it is disconnected and I am getting a CE light w/ code 33, is performance affected? I can't find the EGR tube either, so there's nothing to connect to.

    High idle (2500 RPM) problem

New MAF didn't change anything, put my old one back in...swapped out IAC anyway (w/ new PCM), she runs like a champ. I saw the old PCM, there was definitely something fried internally. So now it runs smoothly, but I have a hard "check engine light" on. Haven't had it come on in years (not...
