heat Make sure you have a continuous flow of cutting oil on it while heating, so it stays lubricated. I would think you should heat it all over...you might be able to achieve the same effect by grounding it on your car battery until it turns a nice cherry color...should be able to straighten...

tire size? I find it rather humorous that you misspelled shift and it blanked it out. Do you have stock size tires?

Personal preference If you like it, that's all that really matters...I think it would look pretty sweet if done well, would like to see the results. Similar in boldness to phatbird and I think that's a beautiful car.
