There's some great stories and analogies in this thread. I'll weigh in......I still check in here on a weekly basis, as I am no longer an SC owner, but many of the people here were so great and helpful that I still enjoy coming here. In 2014, I'd got my first SC, a white 1991. It was a rebuilt...

1989 SC needs to run mid 12s

I hear 'ya. I love SC's, obviously, but one thing really bugged me in the time that I owned it........99.9 percent of people out there don't even know what it is. Even knowledgeable car guys, I've found, mostly don't know what they are. I'd get some pleasantly surprised people that seemed...

Comp Cams dual valve springs and retainers

I've lowered the price to $50.

Comp Cams dual valve springs and retainers

1 set of Comp Cams dual valve springs and retainers for sale, $70. They were installed on a set of heads, but have never seen usage.

Tons of parts for sale; lots of aftermarket go fast stuff

I've updated the list on the first page and have removed the items that have sold, rather than jumble it up with a bunch of text from items that are no longer available. I've dropped the price to the ported blower with 10 percent OD pulley and corresponding belt to $300. I'm open to offers on...

HP guesses in the new year.....

That's the smart route. :D Either way, I'm impressed at the power levels you're currently at on a stock bottom end. I'd finally figured out why my Mustang wasn't idling right after I'd installed the cam last year Dave......it was a bad/ errant injector. It was driving me nuts. The car was...

HP guesses in the new year.....

Stock? Wow. That's awesome! The bottom end on the 3.8's is much more durable than it gets credit for. On the Mustang forums, 275-300 ish rwhp was the commonly advised power level not to exceed with a Procharger setup running 7-8 or so PSI in stock form, but I don't know if anyone had actually...

HP guesses in the new year.....

....Forgot to mention, way to go Dave! 350 hp out of the stock lower end (from what I can tell?) with a turbo is amazing. I believe that the most that I can remember the Procharged/ cam/ intake/ 4.2 stroker/ forged bottom end split port intake guys were getting was around 375 rwhp.

HP guesses in the new year.....

I know that this is a turbo NA split port discussion, but as someone that has beefed up their NA 3.8 split port Mustang (higher compression custom ported heads, cam, tune, 4.10's etc etc), I can say that they're capable of being pretty badass. What I like about the stock Ford split ports is the...

Any used performance parts for sale?

Out of lots of stuff that I've sold, oddly enough, I still have a heavily ported late model blower with a 10 percent overdrive pulley, corresponding belt and with a ported plenum (for a 75mm throttle body). I'm not sure what the car would run in the 1/4 mile, but it had knocked about a full...

    I don't have a radio, sorry!

Some parts from my recent part out

Ouch....I feel your pain on the part out, man, because I recently had to do one on my car when the parts became worth way more than the complete car was worth. Looked like a nice car.

They've been sold--sorry (I should have updated that).

Price is for 6 injectors, yeah. Where do you live? Be forewarned that I live in Canada, and shipping will naturally be higher.

Bump.....still have some stuff left. It's updated on the original post.

Tons of parts for sale; lots of aftermarket go fast stuff

It was the stock Ford one. It's a CTS, and the numbers stamped on it say 521 06677 90223, by the looks of it.

I should also point out: you guys in the US, your dollar is worth almost 30 percent more than our Canadian one. I'm not sure of the exact conversion on your end, but I bought something online yesterday, and when converting to USD, it was .72 cents.

    3.8 to 4.2 stroker

Ah, that sounds correct! Not to threadjack this too much, but the cam you had spec'd for my Mustang was a great choice, Dave.....lumpy enough that it's uncivil, but still good for a street car.
