I would agree.. Mine had leaks with the Teflon. I took them all out and used rtv. No leaks.

Yea, $655 for a good rebuild doesn't seem like a bad price really, I know a good rebuild kit runs around $300+ depending on what you wanna spend plus another $300+ for someone to rebuild it. I have an automatic now and almost regret selling the M5R2 for cheap out of my parts car..

Thanks for the responses.. No wonder it is so much harder to find one for this car.. I found a site that sell trannies but couldn't find the actual "link" for a SC but if you follow the M5R2 from a bronco it says it's compatible which is why I brought the question up...

Would it be the same if I pulled a M5R2 out of a 2005-2008 V6 FORD F150? Just wondering, because there are tons of trucks in the junk yard, but no Thunderbirds whatsoever. I was just wondering what the differences are if any.. Should be the same "Mazda" transmission anyways..lol M5R2...

A question on this.. My driver rear tire has some play in it. No others move while pushing/pulling. What would cause this?

If cylinder one isn't firing I know it throws the whole system outta wack. I know 77 is goose test not done properly which it turn would give you the 33 (just my guess) The 12 is the IAC which would not affect spark and neither would the 21. I would recheck all the wiring and make sure spark...

Best guess would be DIS. Unplug one wire from the coil pack just to where you can see. Have someone turn the car over and see if it gets spark. Repeat with every cylinder. My DIS went bad and in turn ruined my coil pack. If you do get spark on all cylinders it would most likely be the crank sensor.
