MPX Supercharger, Inlet Plenum, Rotor, and Snout $800

For sale is my lightly used Magnum Powers MPX Supercharger with the Magnum Powers Inlet Plenum, Uncoated Rotors, and rebuilt Snout with solid coupler. This was on my SC for only about 5,000 miles before installing a SCI Autorotor blower. There is nothing wrong with this setup and it made great...

    Electrical issues ??

Yes, it is located in the lower "A" pillar behind the front passenger kick panel. You have to remove the kick panel and insulation. Look up into the metal structure of the lower "A" pillar and there will be an off-white plastic retainer which holds the ECU in place. There is a 10mm bolt...

    90 SC lost power brakes

The ignition switch is a known issue with these cars. There was a Ford recall for the faulty ignition switches in the early 90s. I had my ignition switch replaced under the recall but that was 30 years ago. Note to self.... purchase a replacement ignition switch to keep on hand.

    Electrical issues ??

The 89/90 EEC-IV ECUs have known issues related to 3 electrolytic capacitors. Wish I could find a complete schematic for the 89/90 EEC-IV ECU. Without a schematic, I've successfully repaired two 89 and one 90 ECUs with bad electrolytic capacitors. The one 89 ECU was so eaten up by the caustic...

*Intermittent no start, can't chase it down*

That appears to be a aftermarket chip. One of the codes should indicate a chip has been installed but don't remember offhand which code. Someone has done some tuning on that car. I don't recall you stating the year of your SC but the 89/90 EEC-IV computers have a chronic problem with the...

I believe the 90 Anniversary hasn't even been dealer prepared for customer delivery. It is in the condition as it was unloaded from transport.

Looks like the National Parts Depot car collection in Ocala, FL. I believe the 90 Anniversary SC has like 27 miles on the odometer.

    Where's everyone?

How long have you been living in Sarasota Ira? The easiest thing to get used to here in sunny FL is we don't get snow! You're in a great area in the state. I love the Gulf Coast.

An update on the saga of my bird's brakes

Glad to help out another SC owner... there aren't many of us left. I don't have any direct experience with Kenny but I know Dan has used him for many years and speaks very highly of his work. I do all my own work. When my ABS system failed last year, I fixed it myself. My ABS problem turned out...
