The braided line works 100% perfectly. Once routed, it was only about 2" longer. Perfection Clutch part number 185-202 if anyone has a bad hydraulic line, this works!!

My problem is solved. I bought a braided stainless steel clutch line, technically fits a late '80s or early 90s Ranger or Bronco II. Perfection Clutch part number 185-202. Works 100% perfectly.

Ok, so same as mine. Well at this moment I am trying a braided Perfection line from a 90s Ford Ranger/Bronco II, it's about 6 inches longer but looks like it will work. By the time it's tied up/routed properly it should only be about 2-3 inches longer. Fingers crossed!!

Did you build your own clutch line? The one in my '89 SC has a bad end that goes into the slave and I am at a loss as to how to repair it/where I can get the fittings.

Okay I'll look into that. It will after an hour of driving pick up speed so to speak, for example if I start out doing 115 it will read about 60... An hour later it might get up to around 75.

Hello all, I have a 1989 SC and the speedometer is only readying about 60% of the actual speed. At 115 km/h the needle only goes to 60 km/h. The odometer works as it should and is accurate. Is this a VSS issue? Or any other ideas as to how to correct it?
