    Back again after 20 years….

Ok Coy Miller was a thing of the past by the time I started building mine. Most of the more modern super coupes got away from the stick intercooler and piping due to how inexpensive it is to go to a full front mount intercooler. As far as tearing the engine down on a 30 year old car to see if...

    Back again after 20 years….

Welcome back Rick! Alot of the concern with pushing the limits of hp and modifications has turned into preservation at this point for me lol.

    Need help asap, plzz

I have only seen the one your referencing that has a lip on it. when you put the balancer back make sure and put rtv black on the crank bolt as they leak from there and you will think that its the front crank seal.

    Rear brake upgrades?

mine has a new teves system braided lines brembo front w 13.25 rotors and cobra rears. my car is a built 4.2 with a 2.1 kenne bell. On the last road rally we drove them pretty hard and I never had an issue going from 100+ to 25 or 30 around corners

    Rear brake upgrades?

These cars don't have normal brakes even stock with the teves system. I check with tim he bought the same front setup you did but he hasn't tried to install it yet. I'm telling you my brakes are insane. They are 3x better than stock I barley have to touch them and fwiw my car should make 500...

    Rear brake upgrades?

if you notice that guy had wide body fender flairs and had probably cut his stock wheel openings. with a 20x10 rear I have to run a 235 30 20 to clear with the fenders rolled and they still rub at times. I also have qa1 coilover suspension all the way around, Aje front subframe, custom tubular...

    Rear brake upgrades?

That kit is for a mustang. The issue you may run into with that is #1 the suspension on a tbird and mustang are different. Tbird suspension loads the front shock straight up and down and some wheel offsets that mustangs run won't fit our cars for that reason. i told you I had an issue with...

    Rear brake upgrades?

your not doing auto cross with 20" wheels and tires. If it won't fit it just won't your not going to will it to work because of an idea in your mind. in the picture you posted you have 17x8 cobra rs on your car. My car is probably the most modified supercoupe in the country and I am just...

    Rear brake upgrades?

I mean they are just cobra rotors with stick calipers. What are you going to be doing that would require Road race type brakes?

    Rear brake upgrades?

There are no Brembo calipers that just "fit" these cars. I used ats calipers that had to be modified by machining them. With a 14" rotor the probably wont clear fwiw. I just put cobra rear rotors on mine with a relocation kit sold by David Dalke at super coupes unlimited. I had to use a wheel...

    Rear brake upgrades?

I'm sure you could make something work but my 13" rotors and cobra rears are literally the best brakes I've ever had on anything lol unless your running anything north of a 20 like I am you will run into wheel fitment issues.

    Rear brake upgrades?

the relocation kit just uses the stock caliper for the rear and a 12" rotor i think. my front brakes are 4 piston Cadillac ATS brembos w 13" rotors

Anyone ever fix their harmonic balancer with RTV?

And I meant that to be funny not to poke fun at you or stir crap with you. You just reminded me of my Dad lol.

Anyone ever fix their harmonic balancer with RTV?

OK my thought is all the power and torque is at the crank and rtv is made to seal things it has no tensil strength. There is a guy who tested all of the rtvs for setup time, tensile strength etc and none of them worked well at all as a glue or for holding any kind of weight. if your going to...
