    SC coupler direction

    solid couplers are quiet, springs couplers will get noisy with age. If your solid coupler made noise then it was not made properly. I have rebuilt probably 20 some Eaton m90s all with solid couplers and no noise.

    Unfortunately I don't know where I had this set before but in the back of my mind I always wandered if it was correct, Michael ( Decipha ) always said it was wrong. I now at least feel a lot more confident in it being in the correct position.

    Mustang and SC use the same timing chain cover. Both dampers have 30k miles on them and neither are spun. Both timing marks are right on.

    Please tell me what I'm missing here. Stock 94 mustang 3.8 dampener with key stock locking the 2 together and the OEM dampener notch is no way near the BHJ. Car had alot of tuning issues and injector timing was one thing that i had to put weird #s in to get better idle.

    I would run what you have and spend money elsewhere. If you can find a stock 89-93 pulley it’s like a 3% overdrive compared to the 94-95. That’s what I run 10% with 89 SC pulley. Good for 15psi and with a front mount IC I can control heat. Do you have a way to tune?

    The SC needs to breathe so you want to run 4” inlet, slot style MAF, 90mm TB, MP inlet. 20% is a bit much and should just bring the torque in stronger and lower, something not healthy to engines.

    Need to change resistance to get the rpm correct. Some ford tachs had a little pill you could change or even dip switch settings to get rpm correct for 4-6-8 cylinder. I’m sure one of the pages dedicated to 5.0 swapped rangers has a write up on it.
