What’s the best color for an 89-90

Oxford White has my vote. Paint Code: 9L for 1989 and Y0 for 1990+

1989 ford thunderbird sc security issue

I’m curious about this. My 1991 SC has anti-theft, but it’s always been a bit flaky.

Please post or forward me your Marti reports

I have a 1990 SC very similar to yours. Also Oxford White Paint, Black Leather Interior with split fold-down rear seat, 5-speed manual transmission and keyless entry. It even has the CD player and cruise control. Mine has a Moonroof, but is otherwise identical.

1990 Ford Thunderbird SC 5-speed. Oxford White Paint, Blue Cloth Interior. RUST FREE, RUNS, COLD A/C!

Just changed the Front and Rear brake pads and rotors. Also replaced the rubber caliper pin boots. The old pads and rotors didn't look too bad but now they are fresh all the way around. I really want this car to go to a new owner who will take care of it. This car just turned 35 years old...

Are there still people here, with more that one SC, or 89/90 XR7?

I have four Tbird SCs. I have a 1990 5-speed for sale at the moment and will probably list my 1991 5-speed in a few months after I button it up a bit.

    Brake pressure switch

I replaced that part on my 1990 Tbird SC. eBay said the brake proportioning valve I bought was a “fit for my vehicle” (and it kind of was) but my brake lines had to be cut and re-flared to fit.
