This car has been around, but in a good way. You can read up on the build in some earlier threads on this forum from 15 years ago if your bored. Started as an older show build in the 2000’s and cleaned house taking home many first place awards. 3 owner car, me being an owner twice of it. 3.8L supercharged V6. Head Gaskets were redone was rebuilt to be bulletproof. Ported and polished aluminum heads, 76mm MAF, 80mm TB, ported late series blower, 15% overdriven, custom magnum powers front mount inter cooler setup, custom welded raised outlet, and all chromed and polished to match. 4 wheel disc brakes, independent rear suspension, automatic firm ride control. 6 TV’s in the car, 3 12” MTX subs in custom fibreglass enclosure. Hideaway amp and caps with red neon lighting behind the rear seats. lowered on custom built 3 piece Maya forged wheels. Also comes with a set of stock polished wheels. If interested shoot me a message. Car needs some work, but nothing the way it drives or looks. that’s why I’m not listing. To give some perspective on how cheap this is, the wheels alone on the car are worth 4 grand new, AND NO that does not mean I will sell the car for 3K without the wheels. also comes with 16" stock polished 94 SC wheels. 8000US, its a great value, Car is located in Vancouver BC Canada.

The TV’s are apart of the seats and headrests. The price is already a bargain. Will be going on BIT soon.

Beautiful- I had the exact car (except mine was 5 spd, sunroof & burgundy lthr). I've been looking to get back into one, too bad it's an auto... Glwts

i ended up buying this car , what a piece of shit .Everything you can imagine is wrong with this car ,leaks oil ,go's all over the road , and rusted out all underneath. Ya you lied to me . The things bagged and full of rust . Tires dont even have balancing weights on the rims. the stereo is all old and outdated and the things falling apart .Doors are loose . What a ripp off . I'm so mad . This guys a joke and a lier. Says he was driving just this summer.Registration papers say last time he got insurance was in 2022. i got pictures to prove it all. Dont trust anybody's word now days its a messed up world . Then he acts like he doesnt know any of this . the thing is ready for the scrap yard

When i asked you what was wrong with the car you said stereo has an error ,e-brake needs adjusting and mirror doesn't work . I wish lots and lots more than that . you could have said parts car because its un safe to drive

That is too bad the car wasn't as described. First thing is to sit back, and not think about for a couple of days, or so, (if you can). Then make a list of what is positive about the car, like paint, interior, etc. Then list area's of concern, like the oil leaks, and rust, etc. When you get the time, could you take some picture of the underside, and rocker area's. Also, a general inspection, at an independent repair shop would be in order. Get it on a lift, and have it checked out. My recently purchased red 89 SC, had some issues, also. The doors didn't shut well, and all it took was new strikers, to make them work like new. Had a surprise oil leak, that turned out to be just the drain plug. But they can seep, or leak oil, when at that age. Some cheap, and easy to fix, and some are not. Get it inspected.

Good advice from SC-AL , some of those things can be addressed , possibly relatively easy , wandering could just be an alignment, or a loose bushing, big wheels will exaggerate that issue ,but may not be terrible to fix , loose doors come with a 35 year old car, not a hard fix with new hinges or bush the old ones ... if it leaks oil --you did roll the car forward from where it was parked and look at the ground before you bought it ?.
Just making the assumption you would have inspected the car yourself , but if there are major rust holes hidden then ya, not a great situation and a crap move on the seller if he knew about it ... I try not to make claims selling anything , usually its " as is " for the simple reason of sometimes or most of the time you can not know there is a problem ... but yes there are people that will knowingly sell you something that is effed up ... I am with you ... you just can not trust peoples word , so offer or pay accordingly of what you are comfortable with, if it all goes sideways it will not be that bad .. .. in parts that car is worth a few thousand I am sure, but as long as the rust can be addressed it could be worth fixing it up to what you wanted in the first place... take some pics of the rust etc , see what people have to offer as advice , either way ,good luck with it .

Thanks SC-AL , makes me feel a tiny bit better .Spent over 7 G on it .The seller plainly said nothing about the rust problem underneath. When i asked him if there was rust he said there was a soft spot underneath ,but i all ready gave him the money. This was after i just got it transferred. So when i got home with the car i noticed something underneath was hanging down , so i look at it , and he had it taped up with plastic . So I read up on his profile on here and discovered all the problems that he had and he was looking for floor panels a year ago on here . All the pictures and info is on here. Didnt fix it then taped it up . I look underneath and man its bad . Failed to say anything about it . There is lots of other things wrong with the car as well . I was fooled by the pictures , the car looks good but up close the hole thing needs to be taking down to metal and repainted. Its been spray bombed . I couldn't put a jack underneath it , it would have blown out. I just dont have a hole lot of money to fix it .Also dont have the knowledge .Its really stress full , i love these cars . Im just stuck what to do .The floor and rockers is gunna need to be cut out , so im gunna have to find another car .There hard to come by . Plus im in Canada so its even harder . Im not Rich barley geting by and suporting my family . Sold my cougar a week before planing to upgrade .

Wow, that is rough looking. The seller said the video was from 2009, I assume the pics he posted were from 15 years ago too? You couldn't see any of that rust before you bought it & you never took it for a drive before you bought it?

Wow , that is for sure in the - not road worthy- and right into the dangerous category , if that is what its like in those areas there will be a lot more when you pull the whole carpet up ... I suggest checking the whole chassis at this point, the front door pillars down low can rust as well .
Its probably not what you are going to want to hear but one option is, maybe look for a clean body N/A chassis or even better a clean SC chassis car with a blown engine etc for a reasonable price and swap everything over , otherwise it is major surgery and skill level and time to restore that one properly , its not that it can not be fixed but it could be a lot more good money into bad at this point .
I just looked ,there is a 90 SC in Saskatchewan on Kijiji right now that the owner says is registered in BC [ so you would need to make sure that is not opening a can of worms for any reason ] , it says " says " , no rust , looks to be well optioned , IF the chassis is solid metal all around/under it would be much cheaper and probably a lot faster to swap into that car all the good parts from the one you have .
Having both cars side by side with all the tools and an Amish style barn raising help from other SC knowledgeable people an engine can easily be swapped in a weekend , all the other stuff is just tinkering and time but again with the right prep/people it probably could be swapped in another weekend or two.
It sucks to be stung like that , I recently found out what that is like , but maybe the guy will make it right with either a full refund and take it back or at least a partial refund [ which it looks like more than half would start to be close ] and you can look for a clean chassis to swap what is good .
But speaking of good, you may want to make sure that engine is in good shape as claimed as well .
Either way , good luck with it .
Dave.

From reading the sellers past posts, most of the build was over 20 years ago, of a car that was 15 years old then. I guess listing it as a "Show winner"" was a little misleading. Was that when the pics in add were taken-20 years ago? My Model A was a show winner from 1972-75. It was restored by my Dad in 1971, if I was to sell it now 53 years later, I wouldnt use that phrase in the listing.

I'm going to have to be taking him to small claims court its my only option, he's trying to make up all these excuses and basically calling me a liar. I have everything documented and all the screen shots of our conversations . Also all the imformation and pictures off this web site .There's a thing called B.C. Sale of Goods Act (SGA) and ultimately the seller can be held liable for breach of warranty under the act .

check it out
