1990 White Tbird SC 5-Speed (Wisconsin)

I am selling my 1990 Ford Thunderbird Super Coupe with 5-speed manual transmission. Oxford White paint and Blue Cloth interior.
It has 143,955 miles (odometer works). Located in Eau Claire, Wisconsin 54701. Price: $4,500.

I've owned this car since May of 2015. It was a Georgia car until 2019. It has been in Wisconsin ever since but always stored for the Winter. No mods except for aftermarket radio and aftermarket electronic pusher fan.

The Good:
-It has never been driven in snow. No Rust.
-Original paint and interior.
-ABS actuator assembly was remanufactured in Summer of 2015 and accumulator ball was replaced at the same time.
-Firestone Firehawk tires 225/60R16 were bought in 2016 and currently have 13,400 miles on them.
-New Crank Position Sensor from Super Coupe Performance.
-Air Conditioning and Heater work. It has been converted to R134.
-Kenwood radio that has a CD player, USB, and Bluetooth.
-Power antenna works, fully extends, and retracts.
-Driver and passenger doors can be closed with one finger.

The Bad:
-Some paint chips in the hood and trunk lid.
-There is a small dent in the roof, small dent near fuel-filler door, and a few dents in trunk lid.
-Dash is cracked but has cover.
-Headliner is starting to fall apart near the back window.
-I do have to recharge the A/C every 2-3 years.
-Passenger floormat collects water during heavy rain.
-Passenger power seat drains battery, must install/remove fuse every time you want to adjust seats.
-It takes some force to close the hood all the way.

Other:
-Front bumper cover does NOT have SC embossed but comes with front license plate bracket.
-Car did not come with a fold-down rear seat but I happen to have a blue leather fold-down rear seat if interested.
-Original trunklid has paint chips and a few dents but I have a nice Performance White trunklid with factory spoiler from a 1996/1997 Thunderbird LX if interested.

I love this car and I want it to go to someone who will appreciate it.
I am happy to answer any questions you may have and I can send more pictures upon request.
Thank you.

Only Super Coupes with leather interior got the fold down rear seat.
I happen to have an extra blue leather complete backseat (fold down). The top is very dry and cracked but could be recovered.
Cornering lamps are an option and this one has it. Foglights don’t seem to work, maybe the bulbs are burned out.
I think the seat bolsters and lumbar still work, I’ll check that later. I may upload a video later of the car running and testing all the electronics. I’ll even to an OBDI test to make sure codes are clear.

Car is still for sale.

I started taking some videos of the car (for the next owner’s benefit). At the moment I’m working on fixing as many of the obvious paint chips that I can. I have some Oxford White paint and the tools to do the job. I can send some pics as-is if asked but I will post pics here as soon as the fixes are done. I’m working overtime at my job which reduces my time working on the car.

Some trim around the windows looks rough, I have replacement trim off of a parts car in better shape.
Also rewiring the pusher fan from being manually controlled to automatically by a thermostat (factory fan works fine, the pusher fan is my way of avoiding the same overheating issue that blew the head-gaskets in my 1991 SC).

I want it to go to a real Super Couper. Some locals have inquired about the car (no real offers yet) but I’m reluctant to sell this 1990 SC to someone who has no idea what a Teves MKII ABS system is or how to check their own OBDI codes (car currently has no codes or problems at the moment).

Car is a rust-free Georgia car but is located in Wisconsin. Curious if anyone is in the area looking for a running 5-speed Super Coupe.
