I was a Ford Tech back when these were new so when I spotted Thumper on a local charties car lot marked as a wholesale unit due to the bad trans, I knew I had found a gem.

Otherwise in amazing condition, I was able to buy her for $800.00 I drove her straight to the transmission shop in second gear and got my first speeding ticket in her right after getting her back.

Thumper had been my daily driver since. Currently I have the engine out for a performance engine rebuild.
