1991 Master cyclinder unit failing

Failing as we speak. ABS never really worked anyway so I am used to not having it.

Ridiculously expensive to replace (quoted $1900 Cdn).

$700 to have rebuilt at SCP.

Is there something we could replace it with? I have decided ABS is not required.

A regular TBird unit? From a Lincoln or XR7? A Mustang? Crown Vic?

Any help you can offer is appreciated.

I'm talking a whole unit without ABS.

I'll bet your accumulator is failing along with the pump motor....

Both parts are not that expensive to replace....

Leaking fluid and the pump is failing.

I was told it's a replace the whole thing situation?
