How much is too much slop in a 94 blower? Do the spring couplers have some play or should they have none? Also can I just buy a gm coupler?

The spring coupler will have play in it, it isn’t that tight and rocking it back and forth will give about 1/6 of a turn. You can buy a solid coupler on eBay for pretty cheap, and it is definitely a worthwhile upgrade.

Yes you can use a GM coupler from an M90 like on the GTP.

Appreciate it! I've read to use Anaerobic Gasket Maker to seal between the snout and the case when putting it back together, would that work?

I just used a thin coating of high temp RTV on mine. You can also use it for sealing the throttle body, intake plenum, supercharger top and the intercooler tubes.
