2004 Calendars

I want one but I got burned on the last one. Sent my money but didn't get anything.

I'd be in for one. I really liked how the TCCOA calendar came out from last year. They had 2 pics of the car and made kinda a collage with the pics and some car info. Pretty sharp.

Calendar

The calendar would be based on the TCCoA calendar for this year, I have one sitting right next to me at my desk.

As it stands I do not have any information from the TCCoA on using the logos, and I do not have enough interest to be able to pay for the printing on these.I have gotten an email from George but I left my email open at home so I will see in a couple of hours what he has to say. I hope that things will change so that this can be pulled together and the calendars be liked by all. If I am not able to get enough people together for this year I will start everything up earlier in the year and there will be one for 2005. I know that is a long way off, but it will be worth the wait. With the time that I have right now I would have to have the order in to the printing company in 2 weeks including all electronic art completly set up so that all that they would have to do is image film/plates and slap it onto the press. I would also have to do a combined, TCCoA/SCCoA, calendar for this year. That would not be bad for the TCCoA because they are all models, but would be a little bit of a let down for the SCCoA. As I said I would like to get this ready for 2004 but it is begining to look dim for it.

This is just an update for now, I will let everyone know if there are any changes.

Although I would prefer to see a calendar with only SC's, I would be happy just to have a calendar. As long as there are a couple SC's and maybe an early XR7, I'd be happy.

And yes, there needs to be an early start for next year.

Mike:
If I get the money you will get the calendar even if I have to
hand deliver the thing.

George:
Sorry for posting before checking the mail, but I was at work
and left everything on at home today so no checking mail at
work. Also you have mail. Hope everything is to your liking also
if there is anything I left out just let me know.

Thanks guys. Let's keep the interest going. Still have a way to go to get to the numbers I need.

I am definitely in for one and will probably get 2 (like I did last time).

Unfortunately, I think if you are waiting for X number of people to reply to this thread before proceeding, I'm not confident that is going to happen. How many calendars do you need for your cutoff? I'm not trying to rain on everyone's parade, but I'm beginning to think this isn't going to happen for a 2004 calendar. Don't get me wrong, I really want a calendar, but the timing doesn't seem ideal. Someone please tell me I'm wrong.

Not sure if you guys want any help but I am making a calander for the other site I visit, its a V6 Mustang site, you guys probably heard of it, www.v6power.net Anyways I am using an online store to make them, so I just have to submit high quality pics and they do the rest of the work. I am having a problem getting permission to sell them though since selling an image of a FORD vehicle even if I own the car is still a copyright infringment technically. I am seeing how to get past this. but if you guy s want my help let me know.

It is like a lot of things in life, just do it untill Ford sends you a letter. I doubt they will.

A guy in Cresson was making 5" tube frame Vette of old that beat up 289 Cobra's. Chevy sent him a letter that shut him down. But he sold off what he had. He didn't have to pay them anything. He is still in business building other race cars.

In law almost anything can be wrong or right. We formed a new city where I live and if we worried about every courtroom interpretation of the law we would never get anything done. In our case after 3 years it is permanant. So just live and do things and be happy. I may be interested in your calander unless it is all Mustangs. I like SC T-Birds period. Guess I could get one for the wife though. You see what she drives.

The problem is the place I am having them made won't make them cause they say its a copyright infringement, FORD prob doesn't care but this place is covering thier butts I guess just in case.

UPDATE

I am sorry that it has been so long since my last update. I have been in the bed sick off and on for about 2 weeks now, and am just now getting caught up on everything that I got behind on.

The calendar will have to be pushed to a 2005 because of my sickness and just not enough interest. I think that the main reason that there wasn't enough interest was because I started everything too late. I will keep your names on a list and will check back in with yall around June of next year and get some of yall to help me decide on what SCs will be in there. Once again I am sorry for not getting this update to yall sooner, I hope that everything will go better for next year.
