2013 SCCoA Top 15

New best 11.723 @114.81. Not a bad day made 11 passes never got the car to hook up I come off the line from idle and rolled the throttle still blew the nitto's off every time. had 1.59 60' last year got to get new tires:(. No new changes just 10% more overdrive on the mpx.

Can't cut a 60'. With et streets it won't do better than a 2.1. Switched to drag radials and now it does 1.9's. grip is not the problem is all I do know. I believe it's a converter problem. Best trap speed for that day was 109mph.

Time to batten down that sunroof before you blow it out running a 9!

You can see daylight at the end of that run at the leading edge of the sun roof! :eek:

Yeaaaaaaa thats why i tape mine down. People think its bc i dont have a moonroof seal ( which is true ) but its really to keep my roof from ripping off .

Of course it was him driving. I wasn't even there, he went there with his mom actually since I had to work elsewhere.

The MPH is a bit low because the car was running hot on the top end due to insufficient radiator and a rather large intercooler blocking things. This was also his first time out with our new IRS bushings and the other mods we had at the Shootout but were prevented from running due to delays and broken parts. The car has more in it.

These days 11's don't really seem like a big deal, but quite frankly this makes Phil's car not only the highest HP but also now the fastest M90 only, 5spd SC. The fact that this was through cats and mufflers and on pump gas makes it all the more special. He drove the car to the track, changed tires, raced, and drove home.
