Congrats on the start-up Jacob. Glad to hear that both you and your son are doing OK.
Was he coming off of a backshift when he had the accident?

He works 4/10s on day shift but has to be up at 3am. He dozed off driving home . I have been there myself over the years! He said he was going to stop and get a drink and walk around he was 1/4 of a mile from where he was going stop at when he crashed! He is very lucky! He has been doing good with his recovery and got a really nice replacement for his car earlier this week so once he is released to go back to work he is set to go.

Matt haub came over and helped me work on the tune a little tonight. Idles much better! Dsidovrrd5 some electrical issues I have to adress a short in nagative battery terminal and we found a broken tps wire I fixed. Hopefuly get the bugs out of it and continue working on getting the tune good enough for the road so we can tune some more.

Matt Haub helped with the tune last night and got the part throttle stuff working really well! We tried some light boost and the car developed a miss which matt narrowed down to pass side of the motor. I tried another set of plug wires today. Once I hiit a bump in my driveway it started missing again! Got to wiggling around on wires and discovered the #3 injector plug had a short in it! Soldered on another plug and it runs great! I will replace the injector harness with a nice one next time I have the blower off but this will be fine for now. I still have to do lots of tunning but it feels pretty damn good even with low timing in it and the very little I've got into it. Also managed to get my laptop to log AFR again0930211937_HDR_compress5.jpg0930211959_compress0.jpg0927211723_compress16.jpg0930211742_HDR_compress53.jpg

I got a little work done today. Rewired my guages so they actually work. Also got started on a new switch panel for the of lockout solenoid and will rout the plugs for qh and wideband to this panel. Once I get it figured out I will wrap it on black vinyl or carbon fiber so it matches 1004211809_HDR_compress25.jpg1003210822_HDR_compress32.jpg1003210822_HDR_compress32.jpg1003211240_compress70.jpg1004211754a_HDR_compress65.jpg

Two steps forward one step back.. pulled the blower and replaced the injector harness it had several sketchy plugs. Anyway put it back together and the car still had a miss that comes and goes.. I discovered that I have an o ring hanging out of the pass side fuel rail, and I am leaking fuel. The flush plug that I had to grind to clear apparently I ground to much off and the edge broke off! Ordered new ones from summit but no idea how long it will take I hope it's quick!1011211759a_HDR_resize_23.jpg1011211759_HDR_resize_45.jpg1011211727_HDR_resize_78.jpg1011211950_resize_59.jpgomg1011211941_resize_0.jpg

Kept chasing a miss and the car was progressively running worse. Then the valvetrain got super noisy so I decided to take a look. 2 rocker studs had backed off and 2 more were loose! Cleaning everything up and using loctite on the studs. Then I will readjust all the valves1015211839_HDR_compress6.jpg1015211941_HDR_compress23.jpg1015211941_HDR_compress23.jpg1015211838a_HDR_compress27.jpg1015211759_compress9.jpg1015211759_HDR_compress7.jpg
