5.0 swap

Hello,

Its been a long since I have been to the site and a long time since I had my last bird. I know its not SC related but figured I would check with you guys along with the TCCOA. I am having a hell of a time finding a clean 91-93 5.0 bird. Every time I come across one, Im a day or two behind and someone snags it. The are a few around but I'm not ready to pay 10-14k for a clean one. I checked the forums here and TCCOA and haven't found any real info on the problems with putting the 5.0 in a V6 or 94/95 bird.

If anyone has any insight I would greatly appreciate it. Hopefully soon I will be back flying with the birds again.
 
I've considered the same thing as far as swaping but what i'd want to do is put a carborated 5.0 less nonsense to deal with yes HP would be a little less. but if you use the right parts you could level that out and have so much less electronics to deal with is my thought on it... as far as the V6 version the only foreseeable issue there would be the rear end in a 3.8NA being a 7.5 instead of 8.8 I would want the 8.8 but otherwise....

Thanks, Im not too concerned with that as I am with the fuel/pcm putting it in a V6 or 94/95.
