Hi all,
I've got to sell my '91. Bought it about 5 years ago, you can search under my name and find old posts to learn a bit about it.

Always adult driven, never raced. The car is in decent shape, but it needs some work. I'll give as much detail as I can if you have any questions. Needs an a/c, dash cluster (usual odometer issue---estimate mileage around 120,000 at the high end, probably lower), and I believe it needs a valve cover gasket on the driver's side (passenger was replaced 4 years ago). Some clearcoat on the body molding on drivers side is peeling. Rest of the paint is typical for a car of it's age, but I still get compliments on it.

Front end is all about 4 years old, I have receipts. Tires a little over a year old, should last a long time to come. This was a daily driver until a few months ago when we got a car for my wife. Can't deal with 3 cars right now.

Exterior is red, interior is gray tweed with black dash panel. There is a small hole worn in the drivers left side bolster.

Has a Flowmaster catback exhaust, SCP intake, ProM MAF, Apten chip and 5% pulley. Never raced, I just did these for fun and flash. The car was a daily driver for the time I've owned it, driven to work and home. Lived 12 miles from work for 4 years, now only 6mi for the last 2. Has aftermarket Eclipse cd player, Boston Accoustic speakers and a boxed sub in the trunk. Nothing flashy, but sounds good. Only put in due to the original stereo getting old and not functioning when I got the car. Windows re-tinted about 4 years ago, no purple windows! Legal limit tint.

This is a great car that needs a home. Asking $2000 or best offer.
Can take pictures as requested when the weather clears up.

Best way to contact me is through email: 91sc@comcast.net, but I'll check here as well. Email if you want to call. Can give you a lot of details about the car, and have all pertinent receipts as well.

I'm in central MS near Jackson. If you're nearby and want to get more info, or set up a time to come by, feel free to send me an email.

Ok, weather was nice so I could take some current pictures.

Other details: new windshield. The last one was the original and it finally got a crack so I had it swapped out.
The power seat belts work just fine.

If there are requests for specific shots, just let me know.

This door could use a new runner inside for the window. Going down it's pretty slow sometimes. I've pulled the current one out before and cleaned it up, which helps, but the felt is rubbed off. It does work though.

The black stuff on the seatback here is from the kids' seats. Haven't gotten to clean it yet, but I think it should come up ok.

The Eclipse CD player. The antenna switch works fine. No problems with antenna going up/down.

Tires are practically new, very few miles on them in the last year they've been on there.

The clear coat issue on drivers side molding:

I may be interested. Any problems at all with the ABS or over heating. Also are the synchros good in the tranny? Any grinding while changing gears? Im not too concerned about the A/C problem or odometer issues. Can it be driven daily as it sits? Thanks

Hi Tim,
The car can be driven just fine. I'm driving it to work again now to show it around town some. I drive it with no concerns.
The car shifts ok, no grinding. Not a slick and fast shifter though. 2nd is a little notchy feeling to get in gear when it's cold, but ok when warmed up. Transmission fluid was flushed about 5 years ago with all other fluids. Brakes are good and pads/rotors just over a year old. I put a new accumulator in it about 3 years ago.
If I were going to keep it, I'd flush the power steering fluid eventually. It works just fine, but when in the cold of winter you get a whine. Flushing the fluid takes care of it, no performance problems with steering, just the whine.

BTW, the black marks on the back seat cleaned up easily, it was just from the kids' seats.

The car is still here, but to be bought this weekend, barring any surprises. If anything changes, I'll post an update.
Thank you for your interest.

Thank you and everyone else for your interest in my car. Sold it Saturday. Sad to see it go, it's been a hell of a good car.
Thank you also to this community that helped me appreciate the car even more while I had it. Going to miss it, it's been one of my most favorite cars that I've had.
