In my 20s I had 2 different XR7s. Both manual. One black, one red. Being young and having a little baby to raise changes you priorities and I was unable to keep them (the cars, kept the baby) Well the red Cougar caught fire. My son, now 23, is also interested in these cars so he has a 92 SC manual. In searching for parts for his, I found a low mileage 90 SC Auto that I couldnt pass up. Well 1.5 years later, I found a White, one owner XR7 manual with 75k on it. I put the deposit on it today and will be picking it up Thursday. The gentleman bought this new in 89 right from the dealer. So now we have a lot of vehicles but the wife was on board and I'm super excited. Pics will follow. Super super psyched to have another XR7. And grateful to have such an understanding partner thru my addiction to vehicles.

I saw that on market place and considered it for a brief moment, but I don't have the time or space for another project

Me either really. Lol. One car had to go. Sold Junior my 03 Acura CLS, also a manual. I enjoyed that car for 18 years and now he can enjoy it for another 20+. The XR7 needs a clutch, there is an exhaust leak on the back side of the engine somewhere but the suspension is factory tight. I mean not a single noise the entire 80 mile drive home. Teves system works perfectly. This guy maintained the vehicle meticulously when it was a regular driver.
