anyone ever thought of making a riser for our Superchargers?

whould you see any performance gains do you think? maybe so the whole s/c would be raised 2-4' over stock? I know there would be a problem with the hood clearence and the I/c lining up but I think it would just have to moved up the same amount as the S/C..... any advise/comments?
