Could you use a super coupe block and rotating assembly as a cheap way to get stronger internals for a split port engine?
Do the split port heads swap over fine? Also do all the newer accessories swap over onto the sc block?
I am building one right now. Using the entire Supercoupe short block as the block and mains are stronger. I used a Scat 4.3 crank, rods and pistons instead of the factory crank. Timing cover attachment is the same and the accessories attach to the heads so it will all remain the same.
