Brainstorming IDEAS for next meet

Hey guys/gals,

Was thinking about what we should do next for our next meet and have so many thoughts of what we could do, but I want us to brainstorm some ideas and maybe get the ball rolling on a few meets

Subject: So-Cal Meet/Activity Brainstorming
Brainstorming Start: 3/3/2014
Brainstorming End: 3/10/2014
Group Decision Finalized: 3/14/2014

Alright, so we all know that an SC is always going to be on going project and as much as I would like to have meets to relax, have some food, and talk SC stories and all. I started to thinking why not also throw some fun activities together;
1) Junkyard runs - I know that distances between members might make this difficult. But if there are members close to each others area maybe make it a fun trip and have two or more people get together.
2) Wrenching meets - Have the meet at someones garage and members can either bring the parts that they want to install/exchange. OR we can team up on member(s) SC's and help them fix any items in no time! :cool:

Well let's see what ideas everyone has :cool:
 
I can offer a place to work on the cars, I have a covered patio , garage with room & RV parking slab in the back yard that has room & a portable shade cover.

Santa Clarita has some great places to meet & do a photo shoot with hills & such for a background.

The next 1/2 off day at PnP might be around Memorial day (May 26), but right now that's just a guess. Otherwise, try row52.com for SC/MN-12 donors, etc. so you don't have to call/chase around. Good luck and it's good to see you guys making the effort to meet up :)
 
Santa Clarita dose have nice hills for a back ground pictures. They also have a nice restaurant called Route 66 Classic Grill in Canyon Country. Just an idea. But I'm in for anything

the fabulous fords sounds fun we should totally hit that up! i always love wrenching and heading to a junk yard is always better than going alone.
 
FFF is always a great event. We'd make a run with 8 or 10 Fords from NoCal down to SoCal for it every few years. One time they lined us up next to the Panteras...that was when they were mostly grey market cars and the owners (this guys are nuts!) would just sell to each other so they could keep them semi-street legal :) One time I got to sit and talk with Larry Shinoda. I recall a sea of Mustangs that seemed to spread to the horizon... Always great swag, too.
