Complete engine

Looking for a complete engine for a swap I'm planning. Located in south Georgia. If anyone has one, please let me know.
 
I have a long block (some accessories included) from my 89’ 5spd. It was swapped out 20 years ago for a 90’ donor car engine, it’s been sitting in the garage ever since. I does have a blown head gasket (who would’ve guessed), I was careful to clear coolant from the cylinders before pulling it out. It has about 95,000 miles on it. It’s yours for $200 if you have it picked up. It’s in the Seattle area.

Wow, that's a great deal, and I'd jump on it, but a cross country trip isn't in the plan right now. I will keep it in mind. Do you have the blower as well? I wonder if I could have the whole thing freighted.
 
Have a couple in New York, ran but would consider to be cores for rebuilding due to miles. $600 each. Ron

No intention of going above the Mason-Dixon line, but that's a great offer.


Both of the first offers I got were from scammers. The fist one said he'd take $500 for a complete 85k mile engine WITH the blower and ship it to Georgia for $225. Riiiiiight......
 
No scam here, complete engines that I have been sitting on for years and time to go.

totally understand, not really cross country, more north south but would still be a three day adventure. if your not in a hurry, i do occasionally go to Florida although don't envision a trip anytime soon.

Yeah technically not "cross-country". It's usually difficult to arrange more than an hour trip in any direction because of my animals, but I'm willing to go a bit farther on this one. I'm not in a huge hurry, but I'd like to get a good engine before my current 300k mill decides to explode.

How many miles are on them?
 
Going to look at an engine in a few days. We'll see how it goes. It's missing a few things, however. The PS/ALT bracket, coil bracket, intercooler, and air intake hose. Everything else is there. Its been sitting on a shelf in a junkyard warehouse for 11 years. The notes on it said "slight steam" which may, unfortunately, indicate a head gasket issue. I'll take a breaker bar, a spark plug socket, and my boroscope. They want $500, but I'll try to talk them down since it's been there since 2014, and they can't even tell me how many miles are on it.
