Doing head gaskets

Sorry if this is a dumb question, I'm doing head gaskets and I have different rockers than factory ,Do I still torque these down the same as in the manual,.I can't reach the company that makes them .So im assuming the steps are the same as in Chilton and haynes manuals, and there is no other steps. I don't want to screw anything up? I'm simply removing the heads to do gaskets and nothing more.
I'm grateful for any knowledge I can get on this.

Ok found my answer..scorpion racing Finally answered the phone.
They get tightened by hand with lifters down ,tighten till pushrods turn with slight drag. Then torque to 18- 20 ft lbs .
