engine whistle

hey guys this may be a question without enough info but ill try my best

my engine has a noticeable whistle i guess it kind of sounds like a vaccum leak
but all my power is still there and my boost levels look right same with my idle vac levels. ive asked a few people in person and some say it sounds like a dead piston. but i have all my power still there and besides the whistle it sounds normal, any ideas?
 
During boost, during idle, all the time, does it ever change pitch, what pitch is it? That will help narrow it down. Also, how long has it occured, and is it after any changes? Could be anything from main bearings to alt bearings to a belt, or more. Have you noticed any other abnormal engine symptoms?
 
no other changes engine still feels/runs the same all my power is still there
the whistle been going on for about 2 days now. and it gets a tiny higher pitched when on the gas lightly. ill try to hear it tommorow if it still whistles under boost. its kinda hard to hear with flowmasters in the back even if i do have the whistle under boost but ill do my best
 
I think this could be hard to diagnose. The main things I would pay attn to are the alternator, pulleys, and supercharger. Make sure it has adequate fluid.
