I've been an SC owner for a while. This car belonged to my mother and father. Mom is 80 now, and she and the car have moved into an apartment that we built onto our house. My dad passed in 2010. She stopped driving, so I "bought" this car from her 4 or 5 years ago. It has 80K miles, no rust, always garaged and not driven in snow. We've kept maintenance up and fixed everything that broke when it broke, but the only mod is a Bluetooth Kenwood. Some maintenance done by self - most done by a specialty Ford shop in town.

SC's are great cars. I've enjoyed reading about all of yours and hope that I may be able to help out with some info or encouragement from time to time.

Time to get the kids up . . .

i see...i went there one time to pick up a set of wheels from a guy, all he had left from when he sold the car, but that was years ago now.

nice car.

welcome to the flock....

I also have some 1990's s.c.'s and the white one I got new myself... So welcome to the flock and enjoy the car....Rich

It's cool to see an SC (or any classic car, really) stay in one family for so long. Although I'm the fourth owner, the previous owner sold to me just four months after he bought it from the father/son duo who had owned since new. They had all the dealership stuff from delivery, repair history, some original magazine articles & whatnot, all of which I now have. Pretty neat

Still going strong! Yesterday was a beautiful day for driving the SC - Mid 50's and clear. Unfortunately, I had to work and took the daily driver MINI instead.

Merry Christmas, everyone!

Hey, that beats having to walk past the SC sitting in the garage every single day for 4-5 months :(

You must be in the great white north. That's got some advantages, too. My neighbor is actually mowing his lawn. Not a lot of places in America where you have to do that in December.
