Front sump 3.8 pan

Hey all, I'm doing a ranchero SC swap and am having the time old problem of trying to find a front sump oil pan. A junkyard a few states over claims this is one but the flange looks off. Any advice on an aftermarket pan?

I have one that I believe is a Hamburger custom. Will snap some pictures and measurements when I get home Sunday.

That would be awesome. My current plan is to just cut a Dorman Repro steel pan for a 00 windstar but if you have a Fabricated one you'd be a real one

I was holding onto it since it’s the only one I have ever seen. I’m in PA 18092 make me an offer.

Your right, several of the front bolt holes don't work on a standard V6 pan the reason being is the timing covers are different. I ran into the same problem on my swap. Originally I ran the drag link through a tunnel I made in the aluminium SC pan. When I picked up a Fairmont pan cut it up and made it work. Most of the bolt holes match as well as the end gaskets work. Got pics somewhere if wanted.

The aluminium pan ended up too low in my car and hit it several times. It now has a modified Fairmont steel pan because I no longer have access to the aluminium welding equipment. I haven't found pics of it yet but moved the sump forward and changed timing cover bolt holes.
I pickup a heavy steel plate and bolted the pans to it for welding.
Any questions just ask, happy to share.20240503_111453~2.jpg
