Fuel pump relay bypass

Anyone know how to bypass the FP relay? I can't even find it for starters. My Genuine Ford service Manual for my 95 3.8L SC says its in the power distribution box, but all that is in there is a 20a fuse for the FP. I need to drain my tank so I can replace a weak FP. It takes 3 turns of the key to get the Fuel pressure to 33 lbs, then running it's stays at 30 and holds there after shut down for 20 minutes. I think it's supposed to be at 39-40, then 1 lb increases for each lb of boost, up to about 52. regulator is in a very ugly spot so I'll leave that alone for now. I can hear the pump prime so the relay is working and it does start and run, but stalls when at idle sometimes and is hard to start sometimes.

Thanks

Good morning

The fuel pump relay for 1994 - 1995 Thunderbird SC is located in the IRCM

To disable the fuel pump you can start the car and disconnect the fuel pump inertia switch connector located in the trunk underneath the triangle protective cover drive side. The car should shut down @ 2-5 seconds.

Here is a good link for fuel pump replacement.

Good Luck.

Do yo know which wire to jumper?

The EEC self-test connector for '94~'95 is shown in this thread:

Ground with a jumper from the fuel pump lead in that connector:
