Hi. Yes I'd rather have a 5 speed, but I have to start somewhere. Ad says 66k on it, price is 2k. Wondering what I should look for. Other than rust, looseness, normal stuff.

How can a person know what shape the supercharger system is in??
Ad says brakes bad, not sure what that means. He says stiff.
Any advice would be nice.
Acceleration compared to a Lincoln mark 8. Had one a year ago.
Thanks

Not sure what a LSD is?

91 will have the TEVES ABS/brake booster system which can be a little overwhelming to some not familier with it.

Maybe should have consulted this site before making plans to view a car, not after?

Well. I saw ad, made plans to see it. I posted this thread,. I Am going to see car in a bit. Can you tell me what I could have done differently??
If this is a typical response to a question, I doubt I would want to join this forum.
But you have a nice day!

PM sent.

Consider the two grand a down payment if you're not familiar with these cars and handy mechanically. The brake issue with a stiff pedal means no brakes the system needs work and it's a complex system, this may only be the beginning.
This forum is a gold mine of knowledge as are most club sites and the suggestion to have done some consulting before viewing I see as a helpful suggestion not as a snide remark.
If you have seen the car and either bought or not, this is the place to ask questions, we do try to help. Good luck with your search and keep in mind the saying to buy the best car you can afford these cars will nickel and dime you into unknow amounts of cash and frustration but when they're right they sure are fun.

There was a really comprehensive used MN12 evaluation & check list posted on here years ago, bit I can't find it now.
