I want to shout out to Miguel5761 and Falcon20x.

These guys are excellent. I have presented numerous questions about my 94 SC and they have replied with precise detailed advise. I took my car to Falcon 20x (Terry) and he is a great person to deal with. Very personable and willing to offer any help needed. Falcon 20x actually lives about 45 minutes from me here in Texas and this guy is awesome.

I just want to say thanks to SCCOA and these two individuals for all your help with questions regarding my 94 SC.

I get a little less than 12 volts to the fuel pump but it won’t energize yet if I run a straight 12 volt wire from the battery it will energize and pump. Question is could the eecm be the problem.

My appoligies, if you have power supply & a good ground to the pump, then you can rule out the ECM, the IRCM & the trunk inertia switch. Although 11 volts is weak, if should still attemt to run. I think the pump itself is failing & a wiring issue to it are what I'd be looking at. You should have 12-13.5 volts.

Thanks for that much-needed info, it will surely help me zero in on the problem. Plus I can stop trying to pull the EECM. I am quite happy to put the little screw back in and the piece that was in the way, 10mm the plug-in back in place and hope I never have to see the EECM again LoL

I had a fair amount of issue with my fuel pump harness best I could tell someone changed the pump and did a poor job at it and the connector to the pump was all broken if needed you can get just the connector it comes with wires attached so you can splice but I didn't do it that way I removed the wires from both connectors 1 at a time as to make sure they went back in the same location and put the vehicle wires into the new connector the connector I'm referring to is the one on top of the fuel tank

Thanks for the info. I did replace the gas tank plugin, I am going to bring the tank out then run test to see what is the cause. I am thinking if 12 plus volts are going in to the relay then 12 volts ought to com out the other end to the pump. I'll post what I find after testing Thanks again.

Found a bit about when the circuit 4 is energized the fuel injection computer then grounds circuit 1. Not sure if my bird has a fuel injection computer. Maybe it is called something else. Will work on it tomorrow, then post what I find out, thanks

If you've got 12 in but not 12 out I'd think the relay was the issue
If the relay is energizing & you have 12 volts to it, then everything before it(ECM,IRCM & all the associated wiring) is good. Your issue must be the relay &/or the wiring from it to the pump.

I agree maybe I read something wrong I thought he was checking directly at the relay and saying 12 into the relay and 12 directly out I didn't realize it meant less then 12 somewhere down the wiring after the relay
