After wrestling with the ARC and failing to get any results I had nearly lost my will to stay away from the dealership. I couldn't get any codes but had a blinking firm light and the system was ignoring input from the steering wheel and brakes. Pulled the actuators---they looked okay; gave all of the shocks a twist and they were free moving---hhhmmmm...check in the trunk and sure enough...After years of packing suitcases and camping gear in there there harness had come ever so slightly loose from the ARC computer!!! One little push, a click and voila no more problems! So my bit of Monday advise is K(eep) I(t) S(imple), S(tupid)!

That's interesting Anthony because that harness is held into the ARC computer via a threaded bolt . Was it loose?

Either way, can't argue with success.

I gave it a blind shove but then it was wierd again this morning...another shove fixed things but I guess I'll see if I can get to that bolt.
